Happy Friday: Doomsday Called Off

You may not have much hope of finding a job after college or just for the summer, but the good news is that there is some doubt about the whole "global warming = the end of the world as we know it" thing.

While pulling together material for the Environmental Impacts of Climate Change section (almost ready), we ran across the CBC's (Canada's version of the BBC) documentary, Global Warming - Doomsday Called Off, from a few years ago. While it's a little "vintage" and there are plenty of new studies from both the pragmatists and the alarmists that have since added to the debate, the documentary is still thought-provoking and worthy of your time. It's also a good one to spread around to get people thinking before COP15.
