Poco Kernsmith is a Professor of Social Work at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She received her PhD in Social Welfare in 2002 from UCLA with a study of gender differences in intimate partner violence perpetration.
Erin B. Comartin joined the WSU School of Social Work faculty in 2016, after leaving a four-year faculty position at Oakland University in Rochester, MI. She received her Ph.D. and M.S.W degrees from Wayne State University.
Sheryl Kubiak, Ph.D. is the Dean of and a Professor in the Wayne State University School of Social Work. Dean Kubiak is also the Director of the Center for Behavioral Health and Justice. Prior to her current position, Dean Kubiak was a professor in the College of Social Science, Department of Social Work, at Michigan State University and a research associate in the Institute for Research on Women and Gender and the Substance Abuse Research Center – both at University of Michigan.
